JuggleScroll is an app for football players that lets you earn time on the apps you choose to shield by completing a camera-verified session of active football juggling. In these terms, "JuggleScroll" means the app, and "we" and "us" mean the person who operates it, named in section 13.
By using JuggleScroll you agree to these terms.
JuggleScroll encourages you to spend more time with a football. It does not promise that your football ability, fitness, health or anything else will improve. Any information on the Discover tab about football or sports science is provided for general interest, is paraphrased from the sources it cites, and is not coaching, medical or professional advice.
Juggling a football involves the ordinary risks of physical activity. Use JuggleScroll only where it is safe to play, with enough space, on a surface that is safe to play on, and stop if you feel unwell. You are responsible for your own safety and for the safety of people and property around you.
JuggleScroll needs your phone propped up with the camera facing you. Place it somewhere stable, away from the ball, and where it cannot fall or be kicked. We are not responsible for damage to your phone or to anything else caused by where you put it or by the ball.
JuggleScroll uses the camera to judge whether you are actively juggling. It is computer vision, and computer vision makes mistakes: it may pause when you have not stopped, or credit time it should not have. We work to reduce this, and we do not promise perfect detection. Earned time is a function of what the detector measured, not of what happened.
On iPhone, JuggleScroll uses Apple's Screen Time features to shield the apps you choose. This depends on Apple's software, on your device settings and on your continuing to grant JuggleScroll Screen Time access. You can remove that access in iOS Settings at any time, which removes the shield.
On Android, JuggleScroll blocks the apps you choose using an Accessibility Service that you turn on in Android Settings → Accessibility. It depends on that service staying enabled and on Android continuing to run it. Some phones stop background services to save battery; if yours does, blocking may pause until you open JuggleScroll again. You can turn the service off at any time in the same Settings screen, which removes the blocking.
Both mechanisms have limits set by Apple and by Google that JuggleScroll cannot change. JuggleScroll is a tool to help you keep a commitment you have made to yourself; it is not a security product and is not designed to withstand deliberate attempts to get around it.
JuggleScroll runs on your device. It uses a server only to keep a backup of the dates and lengths of the sessions you win, and the app works normally with no network at all — sessions are earned on the phone and the backup catches up later. We may change, suspend or discontinue the app or any feature at any time.
Use JuggleScroll only as intended and only in ways that are lawful where you are. Do not attempt to reverse-engineer, tamper with or interfere with the app, its detector or its use of Screen Time.
JuggleScroll has no accounts. There is nothing to sign up for and no password.
Your three free days. A new install gets 72 hours of the full app, free. This is not a Google Play free trial: you authorise nothing, no payment details are taken, and nothing is charged when it ends. The 72 hours run from when you start them and are tied to your device, so reinstalling does not start them again.
The subscription. After that, continuing requires a subscription bought through Google Play. It renews automatically for the period you chose — monthly or yearly — until you cancel. The price, the renewal period and the renewal date are shown to you by Google Play before you are charged, and the price shown in the app is the one Google Play supplies for your country.
Cancelling. Manage or cancel at any time in Google Play → Subscriptions. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep access until the period you have already paid for has run out. Refunds are handled by Google Play under Google's refund policy, not by us.
Nothing in the app takes a card number. The purchase happens inside Google Play, with the Google account already on your phone.
JuggleScroll, its name, mark, design and content are ours or used with permission. Quotations attributed to named people on the Discover tab are theirs and are attributed to their sources.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, JuggleScroll is provided "as is" and we exclude all warranties, and our liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for the app (currently nothing). Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
We may update these terms. The current version will always be available at the same address with its effective date.
JuggleScroll is operated by Kambili Okwuosa.
